7 Pot Bubblegum Seedling

The 7 Pot is from Trinidad, and is a variety of the Trinidad Scorpion pepper. This pepper is extremely hot (1,000,000 to 1,350,000 Scoville heat units), with a fruity/nutty, slightly smoky flavor. The bumpy texture and beautiful symmetrical shape, along with the bubble-like folds are attributed to the brainstrain variety, thus resembling a human brain. They do have more internal membrane than many other 7 Pots. It’s relatively rare among pepper growers. This pheno produces large quantities of bright red chilis when ripe and plants are grown large enough. Pods range from quarter to half-dollar size.
