For many, this is the Mt. Everest of chilis. The top dog. They don’t get much hotter than this. At around 2 million scoville…well…handle with caution. It’s not just about the heat though. This pepper always looks angry. It will start green and ripen to a bright red. Pods tend to have a round shape with bumpy skin and if you’re lucky, a nice scorpion’s tail at the bottom.
