The Zapotec is a rare kind of Jalapeno, but is fairly basic in nature. For the most part, they look and taste like standard jalapenos, but they do tend to have more of a rounder shape to them. Much like a farmers market Jalapeno, they also tend to have a medium amount of corking on them. If you want something like a standard jalapeno but slightly more interesting, this is the one for you.
