Purple Tiger Jalapeno Seedling

The Purple tiger Jalapeno is as beautiful as it is delicious. The pepper kind of looks like some kind of a cross between some kind of dark ornamental pepper and a fish pepper. It’s extremely dark foliage makes for a stunning garden piece. Pods start off a deep dark purple and slowly ripen to a striped green, then a deep blood red with hints of purple. The chilis are about the same heat as a regular jalapeno, but with a deeper more rich flavor profile. This one is an easy win. They pods are great to be used like any other jalapeno, but are also great when smoked and dried (like a chipotle).
